HarmonyOS-powered phone launches in China to look like the iPhone

Gionee Mobile has launched the new smartphone Gionee G13 Pro in China. The only reason we are talking about a smartphone released in China is because of the design and software of the Gionee G13 Pro.


Although not a Huawei phone, the Gionee G13 Pro will be powered by Huawei's new operating system HarmonyOS so that the Android app will also run. Another interesting aspect of the phone is its design. The design of the Gionee G13 Pro looks exactly like Apple's iPhone 13.


From the huge display notch like the iPhone 13 series to the flat side frame, the design of the Gionee G13 Pro phone is quite identical. The Gionee G13 Pro also has a diagonal camera with a square shape camera module like the iPhone 13 series. The phone can be called a clone of iPhone 13 at a low price.

Another attraction of the Gionee G13 Pro phone is its operating system. The phone will be powered by Huawei's Distributed Operating System, HarmonyOS.


Huawei's new operating system will be able to provide users with a simple and next-level user experience. Although Huawei declared HarmonyOS as an independent operating system, HarmonyOS also has some code for the Android operating system.

The Gionee G13 Pro has a 6.26-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600p. Weighing in at 195 grams, the phone has an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a screen-to-body ratio of about 90%.

The Gionee G13 Pro is powered by a UNESCO Tiger T310 processor. The phone will feature HarmonyOS as a pre-installed operating system and will be fully supported by the Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) ecosystem.


Gionee G13 Pro phone has 4 GB RAM. The phone will be available in two variants of 32 GB and 128 GB storage, where RAM will remain the same. The phone has a USB-C charging port. The Gionee G13 Pro has a 3,500 mAh battery.


Since the Gionee G13 Pro is an entry level smartphone, the phone has quite a simple camera setup in the camera section. The phone has a 13-megapixel main camera sensor as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. Again, the 5 megapixel selfie camera can be seen in the notch cutout of the display of the phone.

The Gionee G13 Pro doesn't have any physical fingerprint support. However, AI Face Recognition has supported face unlock feature. Gionee G13 Pro will be available in four color variants: Deep-C Blue, Glow Gold, Brilliant Black and Graphite Black.

The Gionee G13 Pro is currently only available in the Chinese market. The Gionee G13 Pro with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant will be available for 529 yen or $63.


The Gionee G13 Pro with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be priced at 899 yen or $ 110. In other words, the price of 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant of the phone will be around 7 thousand Bangladeshi Taka. The Gionee G13 Pro with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be priced at around 9,000 Bangladeshi Taka.
